April Yamasaki is an ordained minister with twenty-five years of experience in pastoral ministry. She edits the Rejoice! daily devotional magazine and serves as a spiritual formation mentor.
She is the author of several books on faith and hope, including Hope Beyond Our Sorrows, Sacred Pauses, Four Gifts, and This Ordinary, Extraordinary Life.
At Valley CrossWay Church, April speaks on Sunday mornings once a month and shares in many community-building roles — managing our Facebook page and website, co-hosting Zoom worship, updating our photo directory, and leading our Ride for Refuge team. She also supports Inner Hope Youth Ministries and continues to write her next book.
